Makeblock Wins 2019 Red Dot Design Award for STEAM Education Products

Shenzhen China, March 8 – Makeblock, the leading global STEAM education solutions provider, announced today that its Makeblock MotionBlock, a multi-form programmable robot kit and LaserBox, a smart desktop laser cutter, have won the Red Dot Design Awards for their high design quality in the Product Design category among over 5500 applicants. This is Makeblock’s third and fourth Red Dot Design Awards in three years.

MotionBlock- multi-form programmable robot kit

MotionBlock’s high performance smart servos allow students to undertake engineering and competitive tasks and record all movements. MotionBlock comes with 10 different easy-assemble functions, giving students ultimate bionic motion experience. Students can control MotionBlock with or without software. The Synchronizer allows the robot to achieve synchronous actions without software while the Makeblock app and mBlock5 software help students learn Scratch graphical programming and Python advanced programming.

LaserBox- Smart Desktop Laser Cutter

Specially designed for education and creation, LaserBox redefines laser performance with a high-resolution ultra-wide-angle camera and AI visual algorithm. LaserBox can auto-identify any registered material and set up the cutting-engraving parameters accordingly.
